We continue to encourage partial load faculty to file individual grievances if they have not been offered courses to which they are entitled. Please refer to our February 8 post here.
There are serious issues with the application of the registry, for example, there is no clear process for exercising faculty rights. Some questions were raised by members, and we have asked the College:
- How can partial load faculty confirm if they are in the registry?
- How can partial load faculty discover which partial load classes are available?
- How can partial load faculty exercise their rights? For example, how can they report that they should have been offered a class that was assigned to someone with less seniority?
- When is the next registration period?
