Cuts to Wages

In 2018, Ford’s Conservative government rolled back equal pay legislation for part-time, contract and temporary workers who do the same job as their full-time counterparts. Now, college administrations are threatening to roll back recent wage increases for precariously employed contract faculty.

Count the Ballots

Contract faculty voted on joining a union to collectively bargain better wages and working conditions in 2017, but the College Employer Council (CEC) continues to prevent those ballots from being counted.
