Local 558 of the Ontario Public Services Employees Union (OPSEU) represents approximately 400 counselors, faculty and librarians at Centennial College.
Our local has a rich history of representing members. We defend our hard fought for rights in the Collective Agreement, and we constantly look to negotiate better terms.
We actively participate on numerous provincial, college and union committees to keep member concerns at the centre of all discussions.
And, when your rights are violated, we vigilantly represent members in grievances covering everything from job security and workload to human rights and heath & safety.
As a result, we have a strong local union and a dedicated group of more than 30 stewards representing all corners of the college.
